“Beech leaves, that yellow the noon-time,Float past like specks in the eye;I set every tree in my June time,And now they obscure the sky…..”

Celebrate the beauty of the changing seasons with a golden afternoon of delicious food, traditional entertainment, and warm Dorset hospitality. Inspired by the spirit of a rural Dorset harvest home, this special event promises an unforgettable taste of autumn. To add to the atmosphere we welcome Dorset folk musicians Alastair Braidwood and Tim Laycock to entertain us in true Dorset fashion.

Your ticket includes a hearty ploughman’s lunch, accompanied by plenty of liquid refreshment, while live traditional entertainment and charming country fair stalls create the perfect festive atmosphere ideal for discovering a few early Christmas gifts.

Set within Dorchester’s historic Corn Exchange, this is your chance to immerse yourself in two glorious hours of autumnal celebration, surrounded by the colours, flavours, and traditions of the harvest season, before the year gently turns towards a cosy winter.

Dorchester Corn Exchange has wheelchair access and toilet facilities for wheelchair users. If you have any specific requirements, then please let us know when booking tickets and we are more than happy to help.

Our fully-licenced Corn Exchange Bar will be open half an hour before a performance starts.

Tickets can currently be purchased online or by telephone. The telephone line is manned between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday. At all other times please leave your name, telephone number and ticket requirements and we will call you back.

A £1 Future Fund levy is included in most ticket prices to support our work. This levy is included in the published ticket price. Concessionary prices (for events promoted by Dorchester Arts): where available, these are offered to under 18s, students, those in receipt of benefits and people on low income regardless of age.
