Youth Theatre Director: Jo Simons
Jo trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Her professional acting roles include both
theatre and television for repertory theatres, BBC and ITV, as well as
directing for weekly repertory theatre.
She has been the Director for DYT since 2010, as well as
running DYT, she is also a freelance drama practitioner working primarily in
schools and with youth groups.
Jo believes passionately in youth theatre, having been in a
youth theatre as a teenager, she feels youth theatre should be available to all
regardless of ability.
