An amazing opportunity to catch British jazz legend Courtney Pine up close and personal as he returns to Dorchester, this time in the company of UK soul star Omar.
The Black Notes From The Deep project, where Courtney returns to the tenor saxophone for the first time in a decade, was launched with a sold out concert at London’s Barbican in March 2017 and was followed by a major UK tour dates and an album of the same name.
Multi-instrumentalist Courtney Pine CBE is a BBC Jazz Awards and MOBO winner and Mercury Music Prize nominee. Omar, best known for the 1992 hit single There’s Nothing Like This, has a truly unique and instantly recognisable “signature” vocal sound and has collaborated with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Erykah Badu, Carleen Anderson and Angie Stone.
Don’t miss this very special concert bringing together two of the UK’s finest jazz and soul talents.
