As the shipping forecast enters its second century, Charlie Connelly’s hilarious and insightful show brings this quirky broadcast to life. Inspired by his bestselling book, Attention All Shipping, Charlie explores how a maritime weather report won the hearts of a nation. From curious phrases to cultural impact, he delves into its history, the people behind it, and his own wild journey through all 31 sea areas. With wit, warmth, and wonder, he makes the case for the forecast as Britain’s greatest invention – from Viking to South-East Iceland, this sell-out show ensures you’ll never hear “rain later” the same way again.
