“The music is magic in their hands.”  Sean Rafferty BBC Radio 3

“Not so much a band name as a whole genre of its own, Budapest Café Orchestra embraces an encyclopaedia of music and mischief.”  SCOTSMAN

They’ve wowed us time and again and now they’re back with another blistering programme of traditional folk and gypsy-flavoured music from across the world. Evoking vivid images of Tzigane fiddle maestros, Budapest café life and gypsy campfires –  plus a few surprises along the way –  they are hugely entertaining and have immense skill and profound musicianship.  A show by the BCO is good enough to make you want to book that holiday down the Danube!

Dorchester Corn Exchange has wheelchair access and toilet facilities for wheelchair users. If you have any specific requirements, such as being seated near to the front should you be partially sighted, then please let us know when booking tickets and we are more than happy to help.

The fully-licenced bar opens half an hour before each performance.

The box office is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm. At all other times please leave your name, telephone number and ticket requirements and we will call you back. No booking fees are charged, but a £1 Future Fund levy is included in most ticket prices to support our work. This levy is included in the published ticket price. Concessionary prices (for events promoted by Dorchester Arts): Where available, these are offered to under 18’s, students, those in receipt of benefits and people on low income regardless of age.
