Dorchester Corn Exchange

Cyphers blew us away with last year’s fun and fresh adaptation of Northanger Abbey. Now they return with their gripping adaptation of Charles Dickens’ timeless novel. Brought to life through their characteristic style of multi-rolling casts and fast-paced action.
When Pip, an orphaned blacksmith’s apprentice from the lonely Kent marshes, discovers he has an unnamed benefactor, his life is turned upside down. Thrust into the cut-throat world of Victorian London, Pip finds himself at the heart of an epic thriller of love, loss and friendship. Join Pip as he remembers the characters, events and experiences that shaped his life – for better and for worse.
The Corn Exchange is on High East Street in the heart of the town. For Sat Nav users, our postcode is DT1 1HF. Nearby parking can be found in the various town centre car parks (see map above). Unfortunately there is no parking available on site.
Dorchester Corn Exchange has wheelchair access and toilet facilities for wheelchair users. If you have any specific requirements, such as being seated near to the front should you be partially sighted, then please let us know when booking tickets and we are more than happy to help.
The fully-licenced bar opens half an hour before each performance.
The box office is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm. At all other times please leave your name, telephone number and ticket requirements and we will call you back. No booking fees are charged, but a £1 Future Fund levy is included in most ticket prices to support our work. This levy is included in the published ticket price. Concessionary prices (for events promoted by Dorchester Arts): Where available, these are offered to under 18’s, students, those in receipt of benefits and people on low income regardless of age.
